The flag bearer of the Popular Front for Development, Akere Muna is the first Presidential candiate to make a stop in the Anglophone regions since the campaign started on Saturday.
Akere Muna was in Limbe on Thursday morning where he carried a message of peace and national unity to the population in that part of the country.
Akere Muna made a stop over at the palace in Limbe to receive blessings from the Paramount chief John Manga Williams before proceeding with his campaign.
In Limbe, Akere Muna said he will work for a good relationship between the traditional and administrative authorities in a new republic.
Akere Muna is expected to make several stops in strategic areas of the city before moving to Douala where a grand rally is scheduled later in the afternoon at the Stade Cicam.
In Douala, Akere Muna will be sharing his vision of a united Nation built on strong moral, social and cultural values.
