The flag bearer of the Univers party at Sunday’s Presidential election Cabral Libii has expressed optimism on the possibility of a coalition of opposition forces before Sunday’s polls.

With barely 48 hours left before Cameroonians go to the polls to elect a new President, voices have been clamouring for the eight opposition candidates to come together and form a coalition that would oust the incumbent Paul Biya.

In one of his recent campaign outings in Kribi on Wednesday, Cabral Libii expressed belief of a possible coalition though time is fast running out.

“It is still possible to have a coalition,” Cabral Libbi told reporters at his rally before adding that negotiations are still going on amongst the various leaders and could even drag on till the eve of the election.

Cabral Libii again reiterated his will to see a coalition on Thursday while on campaign in the Far North Region of the country.

He also used the opportunity in Maroua to dismiss a document circulating on social media claiming he has connived with the ruling CPDM party.

Cabral Libii continues his tour of the Far North Region on Friday brfore moving down to Maroua and Garoua on the same day to round off his campaign in the Northern part of the country
