As the October 7 Presidential election winds down, candidates are fine tuning strategies, combing all four corners of the country to garner support even before the campaigns which officially start on September 22.
It is the case with the candidate of the flagbearer of the Cameroon National citizens movement CNCM Frankline Ndifor Afanwiwho has embarked on a trip to the Far North region where he is meeting the population of Mora.
After making a stop at the Divisional Officer of the locality, he met with the local population affected by the Boko Haram crisis before heading to Mokolo where he was presented as the party’s flag bearer.
On his part, the leader of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement, Maurica Kamto has just rounded off a tour in the East Region where he got to meet with the realities of the local population who complained of lack of roads as their major problem.
He was equally in the Adamawa region and is now expected in the Lekie and Mbam and Kim Divisions of the Centre region.
Meanwhile the flag bearer of the FPD party Akere Muna was in Eseka in the Nyong and Kelle Division of the Centre region to meet with the population after visiting the tomb of the late Reuben Um Nyobe on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of his passing away.
Cabral Libii on his has continued his tour of the world as he was welcomed in the United States of America by a crowd of Cameroonians as he mobilises funds for his campaign.
