2019 U20 Afco qualifiers: Cameroon face Mali today

Cameroon will face Mali today in the first leg of the last round qualifiers for the 2019 Under 20 Africa Cup of Nations billed for Niger.

The match kicks off at 3.30pm at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium and will be handled by Chutooree Ganush from Mauritius.

The match will be an opportunity for head coach Oumarou Christophe to strke the first blow before the return leg in Bamako.

The junior Lions have held two seperate training camps to prepare for the game with three friendly matches, notably two victories against Olympique Biwong and Renaissance Ngoumou and a draw against APEJES Mfou.

On their part, the Malian team arrived Yaounde early on Thursday morning and held a training session at the Yaounde Omnisports Annex stadium. Another session followed on Friday as the Malians look to pick a vital result ahead of the return leg at home.
