2019 WWC: Lionesses to play farewell match today before leaving for Spain

Cameroon National Women’s football team will today play their last warm up game at the Yaounde Military stadium before travelling to Spain tomorrow to finalize preparations for the 2019 Women’s World cup in France.

The match scheduled for 4pm will oppose the girls of Alain Djeumfa to a selection of players from the Centre Regional feminine Football championship.

The lionesses who had a training session this morning will use this game opportunity to communion with their fans before they leave for Spain.

Cameroon’s Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi and FECAFOOT’S boss Seidou Mbombo Njoya, will attend the event, after which they will hand the country’s flag to the Lionesses, to defend in France.

Coach Alain Djeumfa and his girls have been camping at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo for a week now.
