AWCON 2018: Cameroon drawn alongside hosts Ghana

Cameroon have been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Ghana at the African Women’s Cup of Nations which kicks offf next month.

The Indomitable Lionesses, runners up of the tournament when they hosted in 2016 will face the Black Queens alongside Algeria and Mali after the draw for the tournament was conducted on Sunday evening in Accra.

The Indomitable Lionesses kick off their campaign against Mali before facing Algeria and rounding off their group with a clash against the Black Queens.

African Champions Nigeria have been drawn in Group B alongside South Africa, Zambia and Kenya.

The competition kicks off on November 17 with the final scheduled for December 1, 2018.
