Burkina Faso’s president Roch Marc Christian Kabore, has started since Wednesday a four-day working visit to Egypt, according to a statement issued by the department of communication of the presidency.“The strengthening of the bilateral cooperation between Burkina Faso and Egypt will be high on the agenda of the visit, during which several issues of common interest will be discussed,” the communiqué indicates.
It added that the Burkinabe head of state will meet with the highest Egyptian authorities including his counterpart Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi.
While in Egypt, President Kabore will visit sites and infrastructures and meet with the Egyptian business community.
According to the same document, “the Burkinabe president will take the opportunity to visit his compatriots settled in Egypt”.
President Kaboré’s visit ends Saturday.
