Members of the National commission for the evaluation of training domains offered abroad have rejected 44 fake certificates submitted by candidates on the basis of their fake nature.
The certificates were dimed fake today during a working session of the commission members chaired by the Secretary General in the Ministry of Higher education Prof Wilfred Gabsa.
Amongst the 1,518 applications submitted by candidates requesting for certificate equivalences, the commission has rejected 44 on the grounds that they are fake.
This conclusion follows the verification and the non-recognition of such certificates and diplomas by the alleged institutions that issued them abroad.
According to reports, Prof Wilfred forwarded the cases of fraud to the Ministry of finance, the National corruption commission and the Ministry of justice for necessary measures to be taken against the alleged defaulters.
Report further says those already working in the public and private sector thanks to those alleged fraudulent applications will after proper investigations be compelled to pay back any money earned.
