Cameroon: Abandoned corpse discovered in Mbouda

The lifeless body of a man has been discovered at the entrance to the residence of the Senior Divisional officer for the Bamboutos in Mbouda, West region of Cameroon, sources have confirmed.

According to sources, the body which is yet to be identified was supposedly abandoned in the morning at that spot, with some body parts chopped off.

Meantime, investigations are said to have been opened to uncover the truth behind the act and establish responsibilities.

Mbouda is the capital of the Bamboutos Division, situated in the West region of Cameroon. It is the second biggest city in the West region.
