Cameroon: Alleged eye witness of Ngarbuh killings murdered in Bui

The alleged key eye witness of the Ngarbuh incident, Mallam Danjuma resident in Kumbo, Bui Division of the North West region of Cameroon has been killed, sources have confirmed.

According to reports, Mallam Danjuma’s corps was found mutilated Saturday February 29, 2020 in Kikaikilaiki, a locality in Bui Division, North West region of Cameroon, an area considered to be one of the strongholds of separatist fighters in that region.

According to some unofficial sources, Mallam Danjuma became a potential target after he granted an interview to the United Nations on what allegedly happened in Ngarbuh village, Donga Mantung Division of the North West region last February 14.

The same sources further say other witnesses and survivors of the deadly incident have all escaped from the village.

This incident comes few days after the Head of State ordered a commission of enquiry into the Ngarbuh incident that reportedly led to death of at least twenty-one civilians including women and children.
