Cameroon: Another Fako chief kidnapped

The traditional ruler of Bojoke village in Bonjongo, a village in Buea Sub division of the South West region has been abducted by unidentified gunmen, sources say.

Chief Donald Likine Eko, a newly-elected third class chief pending coronation and installation was abducted from his home on Sunday and taken to an unidentified location by the gunmen.

No news has filtered so far on his whereabouts and no official statement has been made with regards to his kidnap.

The kidnap comes after that of the traditional ruler of Wotutu village still in the Buea sub division Chief John Elate was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen before immediately being freed by soldiers.
