Cameroon: Brasseries wall collapses, kills pupil in Ebolowa

A pupil from Technical High School Ebolowa in the South region is reported to have died after one of the walls of Brasseries du Cameroon S.A in that part of country collapsed on her on her way to school.


The incident occurred early Wednesday May 05.

In a communique published few hours after this unfortunate incident, the General Manager on behalf of the brewery company extends his heartfelt condolences to the family of the victim.

He pledges to support her all through the funeral ceremony.

He also notes that the company’s security unit is already working together with local competent authorities to establish the circumstances that led to the collapse of the wall.
