Cameroon: CDC workers strike over months of unpaid dues

According to reports for the South West region, workers of the banana section of Cameroon Development Corporation, CDC, have been protesting at the Likomba office since morning.

Our source say the workers are demanding for up to six months of unpaid salaries. Most of the striking workers were carrying placards with worrying messages like “”Our children cannot go to school because of no salary”.

It should be recalled that several workers have abandoned duty posts and over 5000 lost due to security threat.
