The Government of Cameroon has already disbursed the payment of State employees and pensioners for the month of December ahead of the 25th and January 1 end of year feasts.
According to a release signed by the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze, the salaries are available since Monday December 21, well ahead of the usual monthly date.
The release indicates that this exceptional measure is to enable the concerned to better prepare for the end of year feasts usually characterized by huge expenses.
The payments are currently ongoing across the national territory.
