The body of the man who allegedly murdered the four year old daughter last weekend at the Madagascar neighbourhood in Yaounde was discovered yesterday morning in a swampy area around Nkolbisson.

Reports say the lifely body of Issa Hayatou was discovered in a state of decomposition around 11am yesterday before being retrieved from the waters. Many say he committed suicide.

The 40-year old man who was a coach in a football academy had gone missing since the alleged killing of his daughter identified as Nounou.

He reportedly planned and murdered his daughter in cold blood last Saturday after being abandoned by the wife. Some locals say he had earlier threatened to kill his two daughters if the mother did not return home. He finally murdered little Nounou.
