Cameroon: Fecafoot appoints officials of Women’s Football League

The President of the Cameroon Football Federation Fecafoot, Seidou Mbombo Njoya has appointed board members of the newly created Cameroon Women’s Football League for a two years transitional mandate that begins in the days ahead.

This decision was taken yesterday following the announcement of the creation of the League during Fecafoot’s executive committee meeting that held last Tuesday September 3.

Celine Eko Mendomo has been appointed board chair, assisted by Yvonne Asta. The members are; Ufei Nseke Anoma, Sonkin born Rachel Awoun Nkeing and Mouaha epouse Dikongo Marthe.

They have been charged to organise competitions in women’s football and ensure the smooth running of the activities of the League.

According to Fecafoot’s boss, this decision comes as a desire to enhance women’s football that keep growing in the country.
