Cameroon’s ten regional Governors meet in their first bi-annual conference for the year 2021 this Monday June 14 in Yaounde. under the chairmanship of the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji.
For two days, the state of the nation will be scrutinized under the theme “Decentralization and public order”, terms that are very common to Governors as they play an important role in their effective putting in place.
Discussions will focus on a wide range of issues including the illegal circulation of about 7000 arms across the country which may likely increase the rate of criminality in the country, a preoccupation raised at the opening session of the June session of Parliament at the National Assembly.
The situation in the North West and South West regions where we keep recording scenes of violence with the use of explosives will equally be paid special attention.
