The government of Cameroon has expressed satisfaction over measures put in places at the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport to guard against any eventual importation of the Coronavirus into the country.
The Minister of Public Health Manaouda Malachie was at the airport on Monday, March 2 to see the assess the measures put in place.
For two hours, Dr Malachie Manaouda remained with the doctors at the airport as the screened every passenger that who arriving Cameroon yesterday.
All passengers had to undergo the temperature tests at the Thermal booth while health workers distributed hand sanitisers to every passenger that arrived.
After the visit at the airport, the Minister continued to the Yaounde Central Hospital where he visited the isolation centre that has been set up in case a patient is detected.
