Cameroon: Kidnapped Anglophone journalist released

The kidnapped multitasked photo journalist and promoter of Waka Africa TV Waa Nkeng Musi has been released, Cameroon Journalist Trade Union has announced.

He was released this Friday morning after spending hours of captivity in the hands of an alleged unidentified armed group who took him away yesterday evening at the Ntarikon neighbourhood in Bamenda.

According to reports from the Cameroon Journalist Trade Union, Waa Musi was freed unharmed.

Reports say he was abducted alongside his car and taken to an unknown destination before being freed the next day under circumstances we still ignore. Apart from practicing Photojournalism, Waa Nkeng Musi is a trainer and a filmmaker.
