At least five persons of the same family were weekend killed in Bali, North West region of Cameroon, sources have said.
Residents say the family members were killed by security forces who had stormed the Sang neighbourhood in Bali in search of suspected Ambazonia fighters.
Reports hold four of the family members had taken a laddder to go and rescue one of theirs who had been shot but were all shot and killed in the process.
Amongst those killed is a grandmother by name Na Sanyonga Feh Grace. At least two persons are in the hospital responding to treatment following Saturday’s shootings which prompted the shutdown of the road between Bamenda and Bali.
