he Vice President of the Women’s wing of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement Michèle Ndoki returns at the Mfoundi High Court today for hearing of her bail application.
The matter was adjourned last week for the Prison superitendent to produce documents attesting to her incaceration at the Kondengui prison. Security forces were also expected to present an arrest warrant for Michèle Ndoki.
This the court ordered after Ndoki and her lawyers had argued she had been illegally arrested and detained and must thus be freed unconditionally.
Her hearing comes today after over 23 detained supporters of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement boycotted their own hearing on Tuesday on grounds they had been forbidden to put on Cameroon jerseys in protest to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations that was stripped awy from the African Champions.
