Cameroon: Military offers school needs to pupils in neighbouring SW region

The 21st Motorised Infantry Brigade with headquarters in Buea, South West region of Cameroon Friday offered a large consignment of didactic material to pupils of the GPS Bouba IV in the Littoral region.

The school that has welcomed over 149 pupils in the Francophone section and 96 in the Anglophone section, most of whom are internally displaced from neighbouring Tombel Sub-Division in the South West region received didactic material comprising amongst others of exercise books, chalk, school bags and blackboard dusters.

While distributing the items, the Commander of 21st Motorised Infantry Brigade, Colonel Eyenga Severin urged parents to send their kids to school and told the pupils to take their studies serious, for it is only thanks to education that they could achieve their dream careers.

On his part, he promised the pupils he and his troops will continue to do their best to ensure they study in a safe environment.
