Cameroon have called up defender Nicolas Nkoulou for the first time since 2017 for their upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique.
The Torino centre back put his international career on hold in 2017 shortly after winning the Africa Cup of Nations crown that year.
That period saw him miss the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations as negotiations continued to talk him out of his international break.
The player met with Sports and Physical Education Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi recently before agreeing to return to the den.
He is thus included in a 33-man provisional squad named by head coach Toni Conceçaio on Sunday.
The list also includes two home-based player; goalkeeper Epane Letizi of Stade Renard of Melong and Aboubakari Sidiki of Union of Douala.
