Cameroon: Osih, Ndifor, Garga present at Biya’s swearing in ceremony

At least three opposition candidates have been spotted at the swearing in ceremony of the President-elect Paul Biya at the National Assembly on November 6, 2018.

The flag bearer of the Social Democratic Front at the October 7 Presidential election, Joshua Osih who doubles as a member of Parliament has arrived the National Assembly where the ceremony takes place.

Garga Haman Adji of the Alliance for Alliance for Democracy band Development has arrived the National Assembly to take part while Ndifor Frankline Afanwi of the MCNC is also present.

It is however not clear if Maurice Kamto who has since disputed the results of the election or Cabral Libii who finished third will attend.

Kamto’s supporters have since stage protests in some cities around the country denouncing what they describe as an “electoral hold up” as the CRM leader continues to insist he is winner of the October 7 Presidential election.
