Administrative block of GTHS Mbengwi razed by fire

Part of the Government Technical High School, Mbengwi, Momo division, North West region of Cameroon was razed by fire at the weekend, sources have confirmed.

Sources say the administrative block of the school was set on fire by unidentified men on Saturday January 19 in the afternoon before taking off.

No group has claimed responsibility for the act but locals suspect armed groups that have set up camp in the locality.

The school campus has been deserted for months by both teachers and students following the growing insecurity in the area characterised by regular clashes between security forces and separatist fighters.
