Cameroon: Paul Biya to receive CAF boss Patrice Motsepe

The Head of State, Paul Biya will on Tuesday, August 17 receive in audience the President of the Confederation of African Football, CAF, Dr Patrice Motsepe.

The CAF supremo who is in Cameroon for the draw of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations which holds later in the evening is set to discuss the competition with the Head of State as well as the development of football in Cameroon.

The audience comes just 24 hours after the Head of State touched down in Cameroon after spending over a month in Europe.

On his part, Dr Patrice Motsepe who has been in Cameroon at the weekend on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the sultan of the Bamouns in Foumban, His Majesty Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya.

Several African football legends are already in the country ahead of the draw of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations which holds later this evening at the Yaounde Conference Centre.
