Cameroon: Police commissioner killed in Ndop

A police commissioner was on Sunday November 16 killed nin Ndop, Ngoketunjia Division of the North West region by suspected armed separatists.

Kanwing Andre, acting commissioner of the Speacial branch in Ndop was molested by armed men on his way to church on Sunday morning, security sources said.

The sources say he was later rescued and taken to the Saint John clinic in Bamuka for medical attention but the armed men followed on and pulled him out of the hospital before shooting him dead.

The abandoned corpse was later transported to the Ndop district hospital mortuary by element of the National Gendarmerie and the Rapid Intervention Batallion.
