The President of the Republic of Cameroon has decreed Friday May 14, 2021 as a public holiday all through the national territory.

The order is contained in a decree signed Wednesday May 12.

This public holiday can be explained by the fact that the Muslim and Christian communities in the country will be celebrating two important feasts tomorrow Thursday May 13, the end of Ramadan for the former and Ascension Day for the latter.
