Cameroon: residence of disrmament committee coordinator set ablaze

The residence of Gabsa Nyagha Sixtus North West coordinator of the recently created disarmament committee was reportedly set ablaze on Wednesday December 13 by unidentified gunmen, sources have said.

The residence of situated in Balikumbat was completely razed down by a group of armed men who stormed the area, sending away every body.

The incident comes just less than a week after Gabsa Nyagha Sixtus was appointed by the Prime Minister, Head of Government Philemon Yang as Regional Coordinator of the disarmament committee in the North West.

On the other hand, Mr. Fonju Njukang Bernard was appointed to head the committee in the South West region  while Oumar Bichiar was placed in charge of the committee in the Far North Region.
