Cameroon: Samuel Eto’o amongst VIP guests at Biya’s innauguration

Former Indomitable Lions captain Samuel Eto’o has arrived the National Assembly to attend the swearin in ceremony of the President elect Paul Biya.

Eto’o arrived at exactly 10.00am accompanied by his wife Georgette Eto’o and were welcome by the various protocol before being ushered in.

The former Indomitable Lions’ captain openly eclared his support for Paul Biya before the October 7 Presidential election after an audience at the Unity palace alongside Caf President Ahmad to discuss Cameroon’s preparations for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

At the time, Eto’o openly said he will vote for Paul Biya for all the 85-year old has done in his life.

Paul Biya would be innaugurated for a new seven-year term in office to extend his 36-year stay in power after the Constitutional Council declared him winner of the October 7 Presidential election.
