Cameroon: Separatist Fighters Kidnap Driver and Demand Removal Of Police Check Points

North West
Guiness driver

The driver driving the Guinness truck was kidnapped last weekend. His executioners said his employer has to intervene for the withdrawal of the checkpoints of the security forces in the area.

Another abduction in the North West region. It took place precisely in the capital of the region last weekend. The information put forward by Mimimefo info informs that a driver of the brewing product was kidnapped by Ambazonian separatists. The latter did not fail to publish a video where we see the driver in a dilapidated state where the gentleman would have probably suffered enormous torture.
In the video, we can listen to one of the kidnappers explain that his boss is one of the fundamental reasons that encouraged them to kidnap him. They say this referring to the police checkpoint set up right next to the Guinness Depot in the third district of Bamenda at Mile 3. “We want all police checks removed so that we and our people can move freely without any harassment from government forces,” said the separatist.
