Suspected separatist fighters are reported to have fired gunshots outside the Vatican Express travel Agency in Bamenda, North West region of Cameroon early this Wednesday morning.

According to reports, Ambazonia Defence forces stormed the Vatican Express travel agency this Wednesday at about 7am and started shooting at some buses, sending to hiding places the people who were paying tickets to travel.

No one was reportedly injured, but the windscreens of some of the vehicles in the travel agency were touched by the bullets.

After the life jail sentence handed to Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and co, separatist fighters declared a lockdown in Cameroon’s North West and South West regions in a bid to compromise the 2019/2020 academic year in those regions.

This situation has forced many to leave the regions for Francophone zones.
