Six persons died in a road accident involving a heavy duty truck and an inter-urban transport bus belonging to the General Voyage transport agency.
The accident last Tuesday July 20 occurred around the Mbe so Mbe locality in Bamoungum, at the entrance to Bafoussam, chief town of the West region of Cameroon when the truck coming from an opposite direction collided with the transport bus.
Due to the violent nature of the collision, part of the transport bus was crushed and in the course of this, six passengers lost their lives and others sustained injuries.
This other tragic incident is one among the many road accidents which have become recurrent in the Western part of the country these past months killing about 100 people.
