Cameroon soldiers kill 13 separatist fighters in Binka

At least thirteen suspected separatist fighters have been killed by soldiers during a battle on Tuesday November 12 in Mayo Binka, Donga Mantung Division of the North West region, security sources have confirmed.

Security sources said the fighters were killed during an ambush on their way to bury three of their fellow fighters who had been killed on the eve.

This led to a shoot out in which the soldiers over powered the suspected armed separatists killing them all before seizing their weapons.

However, other sources say the suspected armed men were set up by a resident who connived with the soldiers before the ambush.

The soldiers proceeded to detroy the camp that had been set up by the suspected armed men at the the Government Primary School in Mayo Binka.

Sources say fierce fightings have been going on in the area in the past days while unidentified men have been kidnapping residents whom the suspect of conniving with soldiers.
