The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will end the year on the 55 spot on FIFA’s latest ranking that was released at the weekend.
It is the same positionj that the African Champions occupied back in November but a regression by ten places since the start of January 2018 when they occupied the 45 position.
On the African scene, Cameroon ranks seventh, far behind Senegal who are the top African side, followed by Tunisia and Morocco who make up the top three on the continent.
Cameroon’s next opponent $of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Comoros are ranked 143 in the world.
Belgium will go into 2019 as the top ranked side but just a point ahead of World Champions France and Brazil in third position.
