Cameroon: State agents in Ndu ordered to return to work or face sanctions

The Divisional Officer of Ndu sub division, North West region of Cameroon has ordered civil servants in areas of his jurisdiction to return to work or face sanctions.

Adamu Shuaibu Ibrahim said in a communiqué that security has been beefed up in the area after soldiers succeeded to chase away separatist fighters while others have dropped their weapons.

The D.O of Ndu said in a communiqué that 99 percent of the locality is under control as well as several neighbouring localities under his jurisdiction where life is returning to normal.

Violent clashes have been recorded in the Ndu as well as other localities in the Donga Mantung Division forcing civilians to flee their homes to safer areas.
