The Cameroonian film-maker Thierry Ntamack has been invited to take part in the 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival underway in France, where he will exhibit some of his works.
It will be his very first participation at the Cannes Film Festival, and Thierry Ntamack does not hide his joy. Speaking to the daily French newspaper “Mutation” in its edition of Wednesday May 15, the producer of “La Patrie d’abord” expresses his feelings.
“It is an honour and an acknowledgement of years of hard work. I have been invited to exhibit my movies at the African pavilion. It is an opportunity for me to meet with Directors and Distributors to talk about my projects” he said.
Amongst the works he will exhibited at the Cannes Film Festival is his latest “Ne crains rien…je t’aime”. The feature film that denounces female violence was presented to the Cameroonian public on the 2nd and 3rd of May, 2019.
The Cameroonian film-maker who equally doubles as actor has produced many other movies some of which include; “Le blanc d’Eyenga”, “Minga et la cuillere cassé”, and “Le serpent de Bronze”.
