Cameroon: Two doctors kidnapped in Bamenda

Two medical doctors of the Bamenda Regional Hospital were reportedly kidnapped on Wednesday July 17 by unidentified gunmen, sources say.

Doctor Dobgima Walters Pisoh, a Gynecologist, and wife, Doctor Fotso Sandrine, a General Practitioner at the Bamenda Regional Hospital were kidnapped at their residence by unidentified men and taken to an unknow location.

Family sources confirmed the heavily ared men arrived at their Nchobou residence early morning and took the couple away.

No group has claimed responsibility for the kidnap as this is the latest incident in the town following the abduction of a lawyer by armed men early on Wednesday.
