The President of the Cameroon Bar Association Barrister Tchakounte Patie has demanded the release of one of its members Michèle Ndoki.

After meeting in Douala on Thursday February 28 in Douala, the Cameroon Bar Association condemned the arrest and called for a stop to the circulation of images on social media.

The Bar further appointed three lawyers, Barristers Onana Désiré, Mang Mayi and Ashu Egbe, to defend them as the Bar says it will meet in the days ahead to examine the matter deeply.

Michèle Ndoki has been detained the Special Operations Unit in Yaounde since Tuesday when she was arrested by security forces under unclear circumstances.
