The Cameroon Development Coporation, CDC holds an extraordinary joint industrial council meeting today in Limbe.
The meeting will be held at the boadroom of the corporation and chaired by the General Manager Franklin Ngoni Njie.
Though the agenda of the meeting has not been disclosed, it is like the deliberations will be on how to device means of making the corporation resilient in the face of the Anglophone crisis that has paralysed economic activities in the South West region. The meeting will be attended by all legal trade union leaders partnering with the CDC.
The Cameroon Development Corporation has been hardly hit by the Anglophone crisis with activities grounded in several factories across the South West region while production levels of the various crops have dropped.
Several workers have left as the corporation is unable to meet up while the few workers who go to the plantations regularly face attacks from armed men.
