This is according to Human rights lawyer Felix Agbor Balla Nkongho who said the incident occured on the night of Wednesday 11 July 2018.
In a statement released by the founder for the Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa, on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Bambili 5 university students were shot dead by government soldiers after they were ordered out of their hostel by soldiers at night.
The Centre adds that it had verified and authenticated the reports of the killings through eyewitnesses, local residents, family contacts, images of the scenes and other sources.
The Centre further said more killings were recorded on Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Batibo, government soldiers killed a teacher Mr. Tebit Evans Chick and 7 members of his family which includes his wife, 3 children, his father, his mother and his mother-in-law.
The spokesperson of the Cameroon military has so far declined to comment on the allegations made by the human rights lawyer.
