Cameroon’s Ambassador to Switzerland Leonard Henri Bindzi has warned Cameroonians in the diaspora allegedly planning to stage a violent protest against Paul Biya’s presence in Switzerland come Saturday June 29, 2019.

In a communique made public Monday June 24, His Excellency Leonard Henri Bindzi warns the initiators as well as the adherents to the “barbaric project” against the personal consequences they risk with the law in Switzerland if they put their project into execution.

He calls on the Cameroonian community living in and around Switzerland to turn their back on these protests which according to him have become the expression of hate, tribalism and violence which are contrary to the patriotism and love for Cameroon.

Instead, he invites one another to work for peace and living together.

The President of the Republic, Paul Biya who left Cameroon Sunday afternoon with the first lady Chantal Biya is reported to be in Switzerland for a private visit.
