Cameroon:Over 240 Coronavirus vaccinations sites set up

About 243 Coronavirus vaccination sites have been set up across the country, the Minister of Public Health Dr Malachie Manaouda has announced.

Vaccination will start in all the centres nationwide as soon as the vaccines arrive the regions after the first doses of the Chinese Sinopharm were received on Sunday, April 11 by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute.

The immunization campaign has already started in Yaounde and was launched by the Minister of Public Health on Monday, April 12 at the Coronavirus Management Centre in Yaounde while the process equally took place at other health facilities in Yaounde.

The immunization campaign will kick off on other parts of the country, notably the Littoral and South West Regions on Thursday and Friday.

The various Regional Delegates of Public Health will be charged with the immunization process in the 243 centres across the country, the Minister of Public Health said.
