Cameroon:Paul Biya decrees official funerals for Alim Hayatou, business mogul Pascal Monkam

The Head of State Paul Biya on Monday, April  signed two separate decrees according official funerals to the Secreatry of State at the Ministry of Public Health in charge of Pandemics and epidemics Alim Hayatou and business mogul Pascal Monkam.

Secretary of State Alim Hayatou passed away on Monday, April 5 at the Yaounde General Hospital after battling with illness. He will beburied in typical muslim fashion in Garoua during an official funeral  which will be held in his honour on Tuesday, April 6.

On the other hand, business mogul Pascal Monkam died on February 27 at a hospital in South Africa after battling with illness for long.

An official funeral will be held for the fallen business mogul on Saturday, April 10 at Bakassa, Haut Nkam in the West Region.
