The Head of State, Paul Biya and wife Mrs Chantal Biya are back to the nation’s capital, Yaounde after a brief stay abroad.
The Presidential Couple touched down the tarmac of the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport on Monday, August 16.
On hand to receive him at the airport were state dignitaries among them the President of the Senate, Marcel Niat Njifenji, the President of the National Assembly, Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute, the Secretary General at the Presidency, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh.
Paul Biya returns home after spending about 36 days out of the country marked by protests from activists in the diaspora. Paul Biya now has a series of files on his table to handle but he must first start with the CEMAC Heads of state and government summit which starts this Wednesday.
