Rebecca Enonchong, Cameroonian born Technology Entrepreneur, has been elected into the United Nations (UN) Africa Digital Identity Advisory Board.

Going by a recent tweet from the African Business Angels Network (ABAN), a non-profit association that seeks to promote a culture of Angel investing across Africa, the Cameroonian womanpreneur who is also a firebrand advocate of both human and digital rights, is expected to share her know-how on digital technologies to the board along side Rwanda President Paul Kagame and Ethiopia Prime Minster Abiy Ahmed.

It should be recalled that in 2017, Reputation Poll, a global research-based, performance-management consulting company selected Rebecca Enonchong as one of the “2017 100 Most Reputable People on Earth”.

The Tech Entrepreneur who is also the Founder and CEO of leading global provider of enterprise application solutions, AppsTech, and Co-Founder and Board Member of Cameroon Angels Network and African Business Angels Network, was selected under the entrepreneurial cycle.

Her advocacy on both international and private media about Cameroon’s three months deplorable internet cut in it’s English speaking regions had attracted a lot of international buzz to the #BringBackOurInternet course, hence leading to internet restoration in the crisis stricken regions in March 2017.

She was elected Board Chair of the Pan-African network of tech innovation hubs, AfriLabs, replacing Nigeria’s Michael Oluwagbemi in April 2017.
