Dr Zachee Pouga Tinhada, a thirty-seven-year old Cameroonian living in the US has been selected among the 40 best young lawyers and nation’s advocate in the United States of America.
He was selected in the side-line of the On the Rise-Top 40 Young Lawyers Award initiated by the American Bar Association, ABA.
The award programme provides national recognition to forty ABA Young Lawyers Division members who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and service to the profession and their communities every year.
It rewards lawyers of less than 40 years.
According to reports from the US, the award usually serves as a booster to the career of its laureates within the US.
The son of the Kahn locality in the Sanaga Maritime Division of the Littoral region of Cameroon equally features among the 2020 top 40 Under 40 – Nation’s Best Advocates in America, rewarded by the National Bar.
He thus becomes the first Cameroonian to receive such honours in a country with over two million attorneys.

He specializes in U.S. tax aspects of cross-border transactions and has extensive expertise in core areas, such as: tax treaties, USTB, FTCs, PFIC, CFC, FIRPTA, GILTI, FDII, or BEAT.

He is equally an expert affiliated with the International Senior Lawyers’ Project, and serves as expert on projects with the African Union, United Nations, and the OECD.
As far as humanitarian works are concerned, Zachee Pouga is founder and current Chairman of Excellence Plus Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting impoverished children in their dreams to transform themselves and their communities.
