Cameroon railway company, Camrail, currently managed by the Bolloré Group, has embarked on a rail way modernisation project in Cameroon
Camrail on May 31 signed a partnership agreement with an Italian company, dubbed Italfer in the bid to modenise the country’s railway networks.
Going by the agreement, the duo will renovate major rail networks and ensure the supply of passenger rolling stock like passenger cars and rail cars.
The two institutions also plan on constructing a passenger station in Yaoundé and provide its support in the implementation of a training policy in railway professions in Cameroon.
