      The system is composed of different units charged with specific functions with the aim of facilitating the management of the pandemic in that region.

      One of these units is the call centre, charged with recieving calls.

      Cameroon will manufacture chloroquine to help fight against the deadly Coronavieus that has already claimed eight lives in the country.

      Cameroon’s Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation, Madeliene Tchuente while visiting the IMPM in Yaounde assured the country is ready to manufacture six thousand chloroquine tablets in a minute.

      Dr Tchouamo Michel of the Douala Laquintine Hospital in the Littorl region of Cameroon is the first Cameroonian medical doctor to die of COVID-19, sources have said.

    • Cameroon: PCC pastor resigns after suspension

      Rev. Bah Pius, pastor of the Presbyterian Church Cameroon, PC Beach congregation has resigned from the church after he was suspended for a month by the Synod Clerk of the Presbyterian Church Cameroon, Rev Miki Hans Abia.

      The man of God announced he was leaving the church through a resignation letter posted on his Facebook page yesterday.

      Sources say he is the second pastor to resign from the Presbyterian church in less than a month.

    • Fourth Cameroonian dies from COVID-19 in France

      Forty-two-year-old Tjade Eone, a Cameroonian living in France is said to have died in the early hours of Tuesday march 31st 2020 in Paris France, family soirces have said.

      Tjade Eone is the fourth Cameroonian to die of COVID 19 in France since its outbreak. He is brother to one of Cameroon’s pop artist, commonly known as Michael Jackson.

    • COVID-19: 82 Cameroonians repatriated from Cote d’Ivoire

      Eighty two Cameroonians were repatriated from Ivory Coast Tuesday afternoon.

      They have been taken to some hotels in Yaounde where they will be quarantined for forteen days to ensure they are CPOVID-19 free before allowed to meet their family members.

      Besides that, International Labour Organisation officials says the effects  will be far reaching on global efforts to alleviate poverty around the world.


    • Cameroon: National Commission for vote counting submits final report to Constitutional Council

      The National Commission for the final vote counting has submitted its report to the Constitutional Council.

      The report contains the results of the Legislative election re-run of Sunday March 22 in some eleven constituencies in the North West and South West region.
