Grand Prix Chantal Biya Cycling Tour: Algerian cyclist wins first lap- 16h45
Edin Lagarpe from Algeria has won the first stage of the Grand Prix Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour which took the cyclists from Bertoua to Abong-Mbang today. He reportedly finished eight seconds ahead of the second cyclist. The first Cameroonian to cross the finish line was Clovis Kemzong Abessolo who reportedly suffered technical difficulties in the final stretch of the way.

2019 Grand Prix Chantal Biya Cycling Tour: More teams keep on arriving in Cameroon- 15h02
More of the teams expected to take part in this year’s edition of the Grand Prix Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour have been arriving in the country after yesterday’s presentation of Cameroon and Rwandan teams in Dimako, East region of Cameroon. The race kicks off tomorrow with the 101.6 kilometre lap from Bertoua to Abong-Mbang.

The Gynacological Endoscopic Surgery and and Human Reproductive Hospital CHRACERH has acquired an improved quality invitro fertilisation equipment with five million CFA frs. The equipment is designed for optimal working conditions in the laboratory and is capable of assisting conception processes and procedures of about a thousand babies annually.

The different cyclists of the 2019 edition of the Grand Prix Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour have been presented to the public today. The different teams were presented during a ceremony that took place today in Dimako, East region of Cameroon, presided over by Sports and Physical educatoion Minister Prof Narcisse Mouelle Kombi. The race is due to kick-off Thursday with the 109 kilometres lap between Bertoua and Abonmbang.

Cameroon: President Biya takes part in Conference on fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria in France- 15h14
President Paul Biya and wife Chantal Biya are in Lyon, France where they are about taking part in the 6th Replenishment Conference of the Global Fund for the fight against AIDS, Malaria and tuberculosis. The event to be chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron will see the participation of only four other African countries. Cameroon’s indomitable lionesses have qualified for the fourth round of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Qualifiers after defeating DR Congo thanks to the away leg rule. The lionesses conceded a 2-1 defeat from their Congolese counterpart but suceeded to qualify due to the 2 nil defeat DR Congo suffered in the away leg match in Cameroon.

Cameroon: 203 Anglophone detainees released in two English speaking regions- 17h35
A total number of 203 Anglophone detainees have been released in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. According to reports, 148 were released in Buea meanwhile 55 were released in Bamenda. This follows the decision from the Head of State Paul Biya to abandon proceedings pending before military tribunals against some 333 Anglophone detainees.
