    • Grand Prix Chantal Biya Cycling Tour: Algerian cyclist wins first lap

      Edin Lagarpe from Algeria has won the first stage of the Grand Prix Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour which took the cyclists from Bertoua to Abong-Mbang today. He reportedly finished eight seconds ahead of the second cyclist. The first Cameroonian to cross the finish line was Clovis Kemzong Abessolo who reportedly suffered technical difficulties in the final stretch of the way.

      More of the teams expected to take part in this year’s edition of the Grand Prix Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour have been arriving in the country after yesterday’s presentation of Cameroon and Rwandan teams in Dimako, East region of Cameroon. The race kicks off tomorrow with the 101.6 kilometre lap from Bertoua to Abong-Mbang.

The equipment is designed for optimal working conditions in the laboratory and is capable of assisting conception processes and procedures of about a thousand babies annually.

The race is due to kick-off Thursday with the 109 kilometres lap between Bertoua and Abonmbang.

    • Cameroon: 203 Anglophone detainees released in two English speaking regions

      A total number of 203 Anglophone detainees have been released in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. According to reports, 148 were released in Buea meanwhile 55 were released in Bamenda. This follows the decision from the Head of State Paul Biya to abandon proceedings pending before military tribunals against some 333 Anglophone detainees.
